Following a full day of work meetings (yes, I really am working while here!), we had an evening event at the Island of Mainau, Germany. This beautiful private island has been opened to guests for tours of the exquisite gardens and dinner. Here's some pictures of the gardens and sights - which really do not capture the full beauty of the area. And notice the interesting art installation - crocheted art on the tree trunks. Maybe Mom needs to crochet some art for the Town of Tioga?
